These are the Umbro SX Valor II, worn by Chelsea Portuguese star Deco. English brand Umbro, a subsidiary of Nike, is fully owned by the American sportswear giant. This boot is the latest from the Valor range, and it is also worn by English captain John Terry.

The Umbro SX Valor II protects players’ heels and provides high level shock absorption, even under extreme conditions. Deco joined Chelsea in 2008 from Barcelona after appearing 112 times for the Catalan club.

Deco signed a 3-year contract with Chelsea, which will end in 2011, when Deco will be 33 (34 in August). He has made it clear that he won’t renew his contract with the Blues, as he dreams of ending his career at his first club Corinthians in Brazil:

“I have a desire to come back to live in Brazil and I have a dream to go back to Corinthians. I have three more years at Chelsea but this will be my last contract in Europe.”
