The Adidas Adipure II boots are the latest football boots from global sportswear brand Adidas. The new boots are the successors of the Adidas Adipure boots and they were assisted by Kaka for the new design. The Adipures were released into shops on February 26th 2009 and are designed to look like the classic 1978 World Cup boots renowned as one of the most iconic football boots ever made. The boots come in several colourways including Black/White/Gold and White/Black/Gold.

The boots are built with 100% Kangaroo leather which creates a better touch with the ball. They make use of Adidas Traxion technology that ensures players have a better grip whilst running. Also, they feature a premoulded sockliner with adriprene insert for additional comfort. The asymmetrical laces allow for a larger ball striking area and better ball contact

Kaka began his senior career in 2001 with Brazilian club Sao Paulo. The attacking midfielder made 58 appearances for the club scoring 23 times. His performances did not go unnoticed throughout Europe and in 2003, Kaka signed for AC Milan for £8.5 million. The Brazilian has shone at Milan ever since, winning the 2006/07 World Player of the Year and the Champions League in 2007. In the January 2009 transfer window, it was reported that Manchester City had made an over £100 million bid for him. Nevertheless, Kaka turned the offer down claiming he wanted to grow old at Milan.
