On Wednesday March 11th 2009, Inter Milan play Manchester United at Old Trafford, in their second leg Champions League round of sixteen clash. On show for the first time will be Nike’s Mercurial Vapor Superfly boots, as worn by stars of both sides.

Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United and Zlatan Ibrahimovic of Inter Milan will both be wearing the new Superfly boots for the first time, they will have the Mercurial Vapor new Max Orange/Abyss/Silver colourway.

Fans won’t be able to buy these boots until April 1st and will cost £224.99, first images of the Vapor Superfly football boots should be available on March 2nd when they become available to pre-order.

Both Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic are considered both speed players, ideally suited to the lightweight Superfly boots, which will weigh only 200 grams. The players will be Nike’s faces of the boots and the Champions League clash between the two’s sides is the ideal on the pitch battle to launch the boots.
