Following the re-release of the Vapor Superfly boot, the Nike Mercurial Vapor V football boot has once again been revealed in a different colourway. These popular boots retail at around £130 and are currently available for pre-order ahead of an August 1st release.

The boots are currently worn by a selection of top quality players including Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Franck Ribery and Robinho in various different colourways.

The new Nike Mercurial Vapor V boots come with soft and hard ground sole plates. The soft ground features a 6 studded removeable configuration whilst the hard ground option includes Nike’s PU injected stud system. Both choices offer stability and are designed to help acceleration and decelaration for the quickest players around.

Just like the Vapor IV, the Nike Vapor V includes a lace cover which gives a larger striking area suitable for a cleaning contact with the ball. The boot itself weighs just 230g and contains a solid heel counter to provide support and comfort.

The recent innovative Flywire technology is retained and is visible on the instep of the boot where the skeleton like fibres are present underneath the yellow Nike tick. The Flywire acts as extra support and is designed to help the boot fit better to the shape of your foot.
