Manufacturers Nike has now released their new special edition Tiempo 94 football boot as a way to relive the 1994 World Cup held in the USA.
The 1994 World Cup saw football’s popularity rise dramatically in the USA as record attendences gathered to watch the matches. The USA national team emerged to the knock out stages keeping the US crowds interested for a significant amount of time. Sunderland striker Darren Bent has revealed an alternative version of his Umbro Speciali boots which he wore in the entertaining 2-2 Premier League draw against West Ham.
The forward, who was recently called up to the England squad to face Brazil, is a frequent poster on social networking website Twitter. As a result, Umbro designed a unique pair of Specialis for Bent that included the blue Twitter logo and the name @DBTheTruth, the striker’s online username.
